Using a simple 8’x8’x40′ container house, I designed a one bedroom, one bath container home with a roof-top deck and large patio area on the ground floor. The deck is accessed by a spiral staircase. The large sliding doors face the south for maximum light. 18″ high horizontal windows are used elsewhere to allow light but maintain privacy in the bedroom and bath. Interior doors are 30″ wide, exterior door is 36″, and all sliding doors are 6′ double sliders.
